Want to coach?

FC Marylebone are looking for qualified, experienced Coaches for their boys and girls teams. The successful candidate will be required to coach their team on a midweek evening and manage their team on match day (Saturday or Sunday).

 

As a FC Marylebone coach, the candidate will be responsible for their own group of players. They will deliver sessions according to the FC Marylebone Club Philosophy and Principles.

 

This role will provide the successful candidates with excellent personal development opportunities, training, and full FC Marylebone training kit.

 

To be considered for this role, candidates ideally would meet the below criteria:

 

  • F.A Level 1 (F.A. Level 2+ preferred)
  • F.A. Youth Module 1 (1-3 preferred)
  • Experience of working with young players at various levels (with CV)
  • F.A. Licensed Coaches Membership, CRB, SafeGuarding Children and Emergency First Aid up to date.

 

The commitment is usually about 2 -4 hours a week. It is extremely rewarding and allows you to obtain valuable coaching experience.

 

How much time is involved?

 

Apart from the time spent with the team, training and games, you will be expected to attend managers meetings throughout the season once and any courses and events that the club runs. You will also be expected to attend the club’s annual trials and Player Awards.

 

What help will I get?

 

The aim is to get as many parents involved as possible to help you with training, and on match days etc. Hampstead have a system of parent reps that do all sorts to support the team, managers and coaches. (please see parent Reps section). The club is committed to having 2 people involved in each team – Manager and coach.
